    1. Sid C. says:

What do I need to do to keep different editions of a periodic report? Like for example: I want to have available to my stakeholders Monthly Sales Reports from a Sales Database and Id like each report to be interactive (toggle groupings, dynamic filtering, etc). But since all reports are supposed to be connected to a single and constantly evolving database (added, updated, deleted records), I can't imagine how I could do the above said multi-editions for the example Monthly Sales Report. Is there a method you could suggest?

    2. Jonathan Derou Bernal says:

Damn anyoneone have a connection problem while creating dataset (20.24 on the video).

The connection is made but after I get that message error :"You have specified integrated security or credentials in the connection string for the data source, but the data source is configured to use a different credential type. To use the values in the connection string, you must configure the unattended report processing account for the report server.

      Any help ?

      BTW awesum video wiseowl !

    3. M A says:

Installed visual studio 2017, installed SSDT 2017, added SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, added data source, created report and deployed without any errors within 4 hours . Thank you so much for complete, easy and up to point video.

    4. DullBog says:

Thank you very much for your very informative video and series.

I have a question though: If I want to deploy the report to multiple report servers, each of them in different networks, and I don't want to manually change anything in the actual report properties (So I could just pull the report from a repository and deploy it with no changes) is it possible to indicate a path to a variable in a local file that contains the correct URL rather than specifying the URL in report properties?

    5. Tsiriniaina Rakotonirina says:

I really blame Youtube for this Video! Youtube, the Blue Thumbs is not enought to appreciate the quality of Content of this Video. We need more!
There is no word to appreciate how beautiful is your video:
      – The explanation is very detailed
      – The pace is enough for one to learn from scratch the topic even if we never heard of it
      – The approach of changing and running the Preview everytime is amazingly pedagogic and perfect. It helps us to know what was changed and what is its impact
      – I thought I knew Visual Studio, as I worked with it since 2006, but today, in 2020, I learnt that I was wrong.

You are a marvelous trainer. And you deserve much much more subscribers. This is exactly why Youtube exists.
      God bless you brother!

I'm here in South Africa as well and you are making our Country proud of you👍🏼🙌🏼

Great video!!! Is any way to set the totals for an invoice at the end of the page using ssrs report? If I put it on the footer with a visible condition in the last page, the footer height in the first pages are quit huge with the blank space of the totals not display. Thx in advance

    7. raghu d says:

    8. Jayesh Kumar says:

Brilliant Tutorial. Very easy to understand format. Been trying to learn SSRS for a while now , i wish i found this gem earlier. Will be watching the rest of the videos in this series , Thank you so much 🙂

    9. Yehuda Badihi says:

Listen, listen to me well, look, I do not know who you are, Mr. Lecturer, but, I have never encountered such a good online teacher. And I've been through a lot of online tutorials in my life. That's it. I had to stop in the middle and give that feedback. Now I can go back continue the lesson.

    10. Christy Chen says:

Hi Andrew, I have been learning SSRS from your series. However, I came across an error message stating "There was no endpoint listening at net.pipe://localhost/PreviewProcessingServce7324/ReportProcessing that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more deatils."
How do I resolve that? Thank you very much!

    11. Seth Raman says:

Thank you very much. I had an urgent report to build in SSRS for work today and had no prior knowledge of SSRS. We managed to get a report out to the business in time.

    12. darkconfidant86 says:

HI! I am using SSRS reports. I am in a big throuble with table's layout and looking for it on internet i didn't found anything that can help me, then I am trying telling you my problem: I have to send MHTML in mail body for my boss, that has a GMAIL account. He reads mail on PC and on mobile. I can't use MobileReportingServices, but I need to fix the visualization problems: is there a way to make the layout flexible in SSRS? Using particular function maybe? Every research i did says that it's not possible, then I am asking you tha same thing. Please help me.

    13. Joseph Bidern says:

When I choose reporting services and try and connect to the instance I created originally when installing SQL server, I get an error telling me "cannot connect to ……" What a fucking waste of time this was

    14. Muchai M says:

What is SSRS for given pivot charts, pivot tables, and Power BI? Is it necessary? Are executives expected to understand how to use this service just to see charts and tables? SSIS seems to do what Power Query does. SSAS = Power Pivot so what are these tools for anymore?
